9 <br /> <br />A RESO~ GRANTING APPt~0VAL FOR A GROUP EOUSING PRO3ECT PURSLI~NT TO <br />SECTION 40--55 OF 'X~ CO~E OF ~ CITY OF PO~, 1973, AS AMENDED, <br />SUC~ PROJECT ~EING KN09~ 'AS '~IDE 1~ HOUSING OF LAST RESORT~' AND <br />DESI(35]A't'~:~., AS C~P.77-1. <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, Portsmouth Redevelclomant And Housing Authority has made <br />application pursuant to Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, 1973, as amend_~d, for the granting and approval of a <br />Group Housing Project known as "Sonthside 1, Housing Of Last Resort" <br />(G~P-77-i); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application for same has been deterr0J~ed by the Plan- <br /> CuL~tdssion to admit the requirements of Section 40-55 except as <br />herei~a~*~r stated; and <br /> <br /> WIi~iEAS, the Planning Coa~is~on has reviewed such application and <br />the site-plans sutx~tted th~r~th and has reo0n~anded approval of said <br />application subject to the cor~itlons hereinafter stated; and <br /> <br /> Wn~xEAS, the developer has been informed that approval of the Group <br />Housing Project t~ursuant to said Section 40-55 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, grants only an exemption fr~n certion dimensional <br />requirements for residences as stated in said Section 40-55 and does not <br />constitute a waiver of any other requirements ~ed in the Subdivision <br />Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, the Code of the City of Portsmouth and any <br />other applicable state or federal laws; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer is a~rare that building permits and/or any <br />other required permit will be issued only upon conpliance with ordinances <br />or la~s applicable thereto. <br /> <br /> AK/W, RIqEREFORE, BE IT RESflLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, that the certain Group Housing Project known as "Southside <br />1, Housing Of Last Resort" and desigp~ted as GHP-77-1, and more specifically <br />sh~n on a plat entitled, '~arcel No. 14, Effinghsm PrOject", dated <br />January 18, 1977 and revised on January 28, 1977, prepared by Hassel & <br />Folkes, and attached hereto and. made a part hereof, is hereby granted <br />approval. <br /> <br /> Ax]opted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />~eting held February 8, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
