55 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO HAROLD L. AND SHIRLEY <br />RYNDERS TO OPERATE A CONVALESCENT HOME ON HARROWER COURT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Harold L. and Shirley J. Rynders, pursuant to <br />40-75(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />1973, have applied for the granting of a use permit as here- <br />inafter described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and Planning Director have done <br />all things required to be done in connection with said appli- <br />cation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREASr the Planning Commission has recommended that <br />the granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> (1) That the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br />is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect the health and <br />safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood <br />of the proposed use; <br /> <br /> (b) <br />or injurious <br />hood; and <br /> <br /> Will not be detrimental to the public use <br />to the property or improvements in the neighbor- <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of <br />the Zoning Chapter of the City Code° <br /> <br /> (2) Harold L. and Shirley J. Rynders are here_by granted <br />a use permit pursuant to Section 40-75(b) of the City Code to <br />operate a convalescent home on the property described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on the east side of Harrower <br />Court, approximately 750' south from its in- <br />tersection with Johnson Avenue; thence east- <br />erly 100' to a point; thence southerly 218.20'; <br />thence northwesterlyapproximately 220' to <br />the east right of way of Harrower Court; <br />thence northerly along said right of way <br />approximately 60' to the point of origin. <br /> <br /> (3) The issuance of such use permit is subject to the <br />following conditions. <br /> <br /> <br />
