A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO HENRY AND DORIS WILDER, BY THE REVEREND t~UDOLPH LEWIS, MINISTER~ TO OPERATE A ~OUSE OF WORSHIP ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CHESTNUT AND COUNTY STREETS. WHEREAS, Henry and Doris Wilder, by the Reverend Rudolph Lewis', Minister, made an application pursuant to Section 40- 71(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, I973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning CoImmissio~ has recommended the granting of said use permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cora~cil of the City of Portsmoutq], Virginia: ' e 1. That the use for which th use permit hereinafter sought: (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the pro- posed use; (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or to the property or improvements in the neighbor- injurious hood; and (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. Beginning on the.south side of County Street approximatels, 425' west of its intersection with Effingham Street; thence south 90'; thence west 113'; thence north 90' to the south right-of-way line of County Street; thence east along said right-of-way 113' to the Point of Origin. 2. Henry and Doris Wilder, by the Reverend Rudolph Lewis, Minister, is hereby granted a use permit pursuantto Section 40-71(b) of the City Code to operate a House of Worship at the property described as follows:
