A RESOLUTION GRAN'±'~NG A USE PERMIT TO MOSES GIBSON, JR. TO OPERATE A PRIVATE SOCIAL CLUB PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-73(b) OF THE CIT~ CODE ON B_~TREAS, Moses Gibson, Jr., made an application pursuant to Section 40-7300), Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and ¥~r~RFAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in cormection with said application; and B~qt~REAS, the Planning Commission has recon~nded the granting of said use permit. '~nat 5~ses Gibson, Jr. is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to Section 40-73(b), Code of the City of Porks~outh, 1973, to operate a private scx~ial club pursuant to Section 40-73(b) of the City Co~e on land hereinafter described: BegJ_nning at a point on the south right-of-way of West Norfolk Road approx{mately 150 feet east of its intersecdcion with Jordan Lane and thence southerly along a private road approximately 2,800 fee~; thence east approximately 200 fee~ to es~tblish the true Point of OrigJ~n..- thance northerly 53.4 feet; thence east 107.5 feet to the bank of Carney Creek; thence southwest 99.84 feet; t~hence westerly 42.30 feet; thence north 54.5 feet to the True Point of Orig~n. 3. This use pemmit is approved subject to the following condition: 1. i~nat ~[oses Gibson, Jr. shall maintain the upkeep of %he grading of an unimproved road frc~ West Norfolk Road to the point ~f oriqmn herein- described in a manner commensurate with other priva~ roads of l~ke kind.
