23 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A CUL-DE-SAC ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF RIVERSHORE ROAD. WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate, close and discontinue ~the hereinafter-described tions of Rivershore Road, and it appearing that Notice of Application and Request for the Appointment of Viewers was duly posted on February 13, 1981, on the bulletin board of the City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City-of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, James V. McGhee, Raymond Tweed, C. E. Ellis and Linon Vann be appointed viewers, and that George Newton Powers, Sr. be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceeding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portions of such streets and t6 report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what 'inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: NORTHERN PORTION OF CUL-DE-SAC ON RIVERSHORE ROAD Beginning at a point on the north side of River- shore Road where the same is' intersected by. the western line of Site Number Six (6) in Block as shown on a plat entitled "Survey of Property of Peter Eustis, Rivershore Road, Norfolk County, Virginia", dated September, 1958, prepared by Frank D. Tarrell, Jr., and Associates, which plat is duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in Deed Book 1271, page 8, and from said point of beginning along the northern side of Rivershore Road in a westerly direction along a curve to the right, with a radius of fifty (50) feet, an arc distance of 36.14 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing in a westerly direction along the northerly side of Rivershore Road on a curve to the left with a radius of fifty (50) feet an arc distance of 83.4100 feet to a point; thence sDuth 81° 21' 04" east 100 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning.
