65 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO PENTECOSTAL wORKERS OF <br />CHRIST TO OPERATE A CHURCH AND PLACE OF WORSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL <br />BUILDING ON DEEP CREEK BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pentecostal Workers of Christ, by pastor <br />James H. Coppage, made an application pursuant to Section <br />40-71(b) of the Code of the 'City of PortSmouth, 1973, as <br />amended, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter- <br />described; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning commission has recommended the <br /> granting of said use permit. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> 1. That the use for which-the usg permit hereinafter- <br /> described is sought: <br /> (a) will not adversely affect the health and safety <br /> of persons residing and working in the neighborhood of the <br /> proposed use; <br /> <br /> (b) will not be detrimental to <br /> injurious to the property or improvements <br /> and <br /> <br />Chapter <br /> <br />the public use or <br />in the neighborhood: <br /> <br />a use permit pursuant to Section 40-71~b) of the Code of the <br />City of Portsmouth, 1973, to operate a church and place of <br />worship and educational building on property described herein <br />subject to the conditions set forth in paragraph 3 of this re- <br />solution. <br /> <br /> Beginning on the southwest corner of Deep <br /> Creek Boulevard and Evergreen Place;.thence <br /> south along the west right-of-way of Evergreen <br /> Place 115'; thence west 110', more or less; thence <br /> south 75', more or less; thence west 100' to the <br /> east riqht-of-way of Nashville ~venue; thence north <br /> along s~id right-of-way 82.3' to the south right-of- <br /> way of Deep Creek Boulevard; thence northeasterly <br /> along said right-of-way to Evergreen Place, the <br /> point of origin. <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning <br />of the City Code. <br /> That Pentecostal Workers of Christ is hereby granted <br /> <br /> <br />
