A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO MARYVIEW HOSPITAL-FOt{ <br />A HOSPITAL STORAGE AT 3516 QUEEN STREET. .~v~~ <br /> <br /> WPLEREAS, pursuant ko ~40-71 of the Code of the City 'of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, Maryview Hospital has petitioned <br />for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director had done <br />all things required to be done in connection with said appli- <br />cation; and _~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recorm~ended the~- <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE', BE ~IT RESOLVED by the Council o~ the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: ~ ~ <br /> <br /> 1. That the use for which the~use permit hereinafter is <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety <br /> residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed <br /> <br />sought: <br /> <br />of persons <br />use; <br /> <br />injurious <br /> <br /> (b) <br /> to property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br /> <br /> (c) will be ~n accord with the purposes of the <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Maryview Hospital is hereby granted a use permit <br />pursuant to Section 40-71(b) of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, to use the building on the property <br />described as follows for the storage of hospital beds, equip- <br />ment and records: <br /> <br />Will not be detrimental to the public, use or <br /> and <br /> <br />UP-82-9 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northeast intersection of <br />Halifax Avenue and Queen Street; thence east <br />along the north right-of-way of Queen Street <br />140 + %o a point; thence north 1tO'; thence <br />westerly 140' + ko the east right-of-way of <br />Halifax Avenue; thence gouth 110' + to %he <br />point of origin. <br /> <br /> <br />
