64 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A <br />MASCOTT STREET AND FREDERICK BOULEVARD. <br /> <br />PORTION OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ci%y~f Portsmouth has made application <br />to vaca~e~ close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portions of certain streets, and it appearing that adver- <br />tisement of notice of application and request for the ap- <br />pointme~t of viewers was duly published in the Virginian <br />Pitot-Le-dger Star, a newspaper of general circulation mn <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, on July 2Otb and July <br />26th, 19S2~ according to law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, Charles <br />R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and R. Irvine Smith <br />be appointed viewers, and that James Moss and R. E. B. Stuart <br />be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to <br />view the hereinafter-described portion of such streets and <br />to report to this Council in writing whether in their <br />opinion ahy~ and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />~,~LA'SCOTT STREET (FOI~ERLY CLOVER STREET) <br /> <br /> Ail that certain portion of MaScott Street <br /> Clo~er <br /> (formerly . Street) shown on the attached <br />plat entitled '~Pt~t Showing Existing City of <br />Portsmouth RiQhtZof-Way to be Vacated", dated <br />April 20, t9~, prepared by the Engineerlng <br />and Technical Services Department of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, as parcels B, C and D. <br /> <br />FREDERICK BOULEVARD <br /> <br /> Ail that certain portion of Frederick <br />Boulevard shown on the attached plat entitled <br />"Plat Showing Existing City of Portsmouth <br />Right-of-Way to be Vacated", dated April 20, <br />1982, prepared by the Engineering and Tech- <br />nical Services Department of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, as parcel A. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held July 27, 1982. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
