127 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORTION OF <br />LANCASTER STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Frank C. De Los Reyes, et al, have made <br />application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Lancaster Street, and it <br />appearing that notice of application and request for the <br />appointment of viewers was duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A.N. Kendrick, Waldo Davis, <br />William Choate, James H. Griffin and James L. Linehan be <br />appointed viewers and that Robert McCurdy and Emerson Smith be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding <br />viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, a~ if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />Lancaster Street <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land <br />lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, being more particularly described as <br />follows: all that portion of Lancaster Street <br />60' in width lying between the northern side <br />of Columbia Street and the southern side of <br />County Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held November 12, 1985. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
