A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-55 OF T~LE CODE'OF THE CITY OF PORTS- MOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, SkID PROJECT BEING A CONVERSION TO TWO CONDOMINIUMS AT 246-248 BROAD STREET AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-84-19. 2 WHEREAS, Broad Street Partnership by Richard Moleneer, has made application pursuant to Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting and approval of a group housing project consisting of a two unit condominium at 246-248 Broad Street; and WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the Planning Commission to have met the requirements of S40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such appli- cation and site plan submitted therewith, and has recommended approval of said application; and WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval of a group housing project pursuant to ~40-55 grants only an exemption from certain reguire~ents for res±dences as stated in skid Section and does not constitute a waiver of any other requirement embodied in the Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, Code of tke C~ty of Portsmouth, or any other appli- cable, local, state or federal law or regulation; and WHEREAS, the developer is aware that building permits or any other required permit will be issued only ~pon compliance with the ordinances, laws, or regulations applicable thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bv the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the certain group housing project consisting of a two unit condominiu~ to be constructed at 246- 248 Broad Street and designated as GHP-84-19 and more specific- ally described in correspondence from Richard Mo!eneer, Metro Development Corporation, and shown on plans filed with the appro- priate officials of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, such being made a part hereof, is hereby granted approval subject to the following term and condition: 1. A standard site improvement plan must be su~itted for approval to the Engineering & Technical Services Depart- ment of the City, and such plan shall include provisions for parking in accordance with the requirements of the City Code.
