66 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO KENNETH D. SLAUGHTER, CHRISTOPHER K. CROCKETT AND NICHOLAS F. MARTINO, FOR THE CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING DUPLEX TO A TRIPLEX AT 200 FLORIDA AVENUE (UP-85-10). WHEREAS, Kenneth D. Slaughter, Christopher K. Crockett and Nicholas F. Martino, has made application pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) for a use permit to convert an existing duplex residence to a triplex at 200 Florida Avenue which is located in the Port Norfolk ~istoric District; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of a use permit with conditions for the conversion of the existing duplex residence to a triplex residence. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: (a) Will not adversely affect safety of persons residing or working in neighborhood of the proposed use; the health and the (b) or injurious neighborhood; Will not be detrimental to the public to the property or improvements in the and use (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. 2. Kenneth D. Slaughter, Christopher K. Crockett and Nicholas F. Martino are hereby granted a use permit pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) to convert an existing duplex residence to a triplex residence at 200 Florida Avenue, such conversion to be in compliance with the regulations applicable to the Port Norfolk Historic Residential Subdistrict as provided for in the Zoning Chapter of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, as amended, such approval being granted subject to the following terms and conditions: (a) The applicant shall comply with the approval from the Commission of Architectural Review the on-site parking. for
