66 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO KENNETH D. <br />SLAUGHTER, CHRISTOPHER K. CROCKETT AND NICHOLAS F. <br />MARTINO, FOR THE CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING DUPLEX TO A <br />TRIPLEX AT 200 FLORIDA AVENUE (UP-85-10). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kenneth D. Slaughter, Christopher K. <br />Crockett and Nicholas F. Martino, has made application <br />pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) for a use permit to <br />convert an existing duplex residence to a triplex at 200 <br />Florida Avenue which is located in the Port Norfolk <br />~istoric District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director <br />have done all things required to be done in connection <br />with said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended <br />the granting of a use permit with conditions for the <br />conversion of the existing duplex residence to a triplex <br />residence. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is <br />sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect <br />safety of persons residing or working in <br />neighborhood of the proposed use; <br /> <br />the health and <br />the <br /> <br /> (b) <br />or injurious <br />neighborhood; <br /> <br /> Will not be detrimental to the public <br />to the property or improvements in the <br /> and <br /> <br />use <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of <br />the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Kenneth D. Slaughter, Christopher K. Crockett <br />and Nicholas F. Martino are hereby granted a use permit <br />pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) to convert an existing <br />duplex residence to a triplex residence at 200 Florida <br />Avenue, such conversion to be in compliance with the <br />regulations applicable to the Port Norfolk Historic <br />Residential Subdistrict as provided for in the Zoning <br />Chapter of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />1973, as amended, such approval being granted subject to <br />the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The applicant shall comply with the <br />approval from the Commission of Architectural Review <br />the on-site parking. <br /> <br />for <br /> <br /> <br />
