ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-85-16. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia <br /> 1. That the portion of the Zoning Map attached to <br />and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br />Portsmouth, 1973, which now zones as Commercial C-1-K <br />Conditional the property described in Petition for <br />Zoning Amendment No. Z-85-16 is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to show said property'zoned as Commercial <br />C-2-K Conditional, and that said property is hereby <br />zoned as Commercial C-2-K Conditional. <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-85-16 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northwest corner of <br /> Hamilton Avenue and Watson Street: thence <br /> north along the west right-of-way of Hamilton <br /> Avenue 50.5'; thence west 100'; thence south <br /> 50.5' to the north right-of-way of Watson <br /> Street; thence east along said right-of-way <br /> 100' to Hamilton Avenue, the Point of Origin. <br /> 3. Zoning ordinance Amendment Z-85-16 is <br />conditioned upon the following as proffered by the <br />petitioner: <br /> (a) The area is to be utilized only for <br />vehicular parking in conjunction with the operation of <br /> <br />the existing businesses. <br /> <br /> (b) No curb cut permitted on <br />Hamilton Avenue. <br /> (c) The parking area shall be paved with <br />an all weather nondust generating surface. All parking <br />spaces shall be clearly delineated. <br /> <br />is to be <br /> <br /> (d) Landscaping shall be provided in such <br />a manner as to provide a buffer between the Hamilton <br />commercial area and the adjacent residential areas. The <br />Planning Department has the right to review and approve <br />the landscaping plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
