103 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PE~,~IT TO W. W. REASOR TO CON- <br />STRUCT A SEWAGE PUMPING STATION TO SERVICE P~SE I OF THE <br />PROPOSED LONGPOINT DEVELOPMENT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, W. W. Reasor, by C. Raeford Eure, has made <br />application pursuant to S40-74 (b) of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use <br />permit as hereinafter-described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cormuission has recor~aended the <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely <br />of persons residing or working in <br />posed use; <br /> <br />affect the health and safety <br />the neighborhood of the pro- <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning <br />Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. W.W. Reasor is hereby granted a use permit pursuant <br />to ~40-74 (b) of the City Code to construct a sewage pumping <br />station to serve Phase I of the proposed Longpoint development. <br /> <br /> 3. The use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) Screening and vegstation be provided to buffer <br />the station. A' landscape plan must be submitted to the Planning <br />Department for review and approval prior to the issuance of <br />building permits; <br /> <br /> (~) Final engineering of the station must be completed <br />to the satisfaction of the State Deparbment of Health and the <br />City of Portsmouth's Department of Public Utilities. <br /> <br /> <br />
