97 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGE~ TO CONVEY CITY- <br />OWNED PROPERTY (4801 WEST NORFOLK ROAD). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City owns certain improvements to real <br />property which are no longer required for public purposes <br />and are, hereby declared to be excess property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements have been advertised for <br />sale as required by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said improvements has <br />been made by Robert Horton in the a~ount of Fifteen Thousand <br />Dollars ($15,000.); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements will be removed from the <br />property at the expense of the purchase~; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth deems it <br />to be in the best interest of the City to convey said im- <br />provements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by 'the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth that the City Manager be, and he hereby <br />authorized to convey to Robert Horton certain City-owned <br />property located at 4801 West Norfolk Road for the sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.). <br /> <br />is, <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />at a meeting held September 25, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />Virginia, <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
