95 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO DAVID GREEN TO COA~ERT <br />AN EXISTING SINGLE F~4ILY D?~LLING TO A DUPLEi~ AT 254 MARYLAND <br />AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, David Green has made application pursuant to <br />§49-102 (10) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia~ <br />1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cormuission'~has reconuuended the <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co%ln~il of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use per, it is sought: <br /> <br />of persons <br />posed use; <br /> <br />(a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety <br />residing or working in the neighborhood of the pro- <br /> <br /> (b) <br />injurious to <br />and <br /> <br /> Will not he detrimental to th~ public use or <br />the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. David Green is hereby granted a use permit pursuant <br />to ~40-102 ('10) of the City Code to convert a~ existing single <br />family dwelling to a duplex at 254 Maryland Avenue, more <br />specifically described as Tax.Map 138, Parcel 14 (UP-84-11). <br /> <br /> 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The applicant 'shall provide two (2) required <br />on-site parking spaces as approved by the commission of <br />Architectural Review for Port Norfolk and Park View. <br /> <br /> (b) The applicant shall comply with all codes, <br />ordinances, policies, and regulations that may be applicable <br />to the conversion and use as a duplex, and shall obtain all <br />necessary licenses and per, its required for the conversion and <br />subsequent use of the property as a duplex. <br /> <br /> <br />
