(3) The Commission of Architectural Review for <br />Port Norfolk and Park View may, upon application, reduce the <br />required off-street loading requirements in Park View. <br /> <br /> 5. That Section 40-102 (I) be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> (I) Historic Limited Business: The fot.lowing regulations <br />shall apply to such Historic Limited Subdistricts as are <br />established: <br /> <br /> (1) Uses shall be limited to those allowed in C-1 <br />as prescribed in and for that zoning district and housing for <br />the elderly and multi-family dwellings as prescribed in and <br />for Historic Residential Subdistricts. <br /> <br /> (2) The Commission of Architectural Review for <br />Olde Towne, Cradock and Truxtun may issue a certificate of <br />appropriateness for alterations proposed in any subdistricts <br />established on Alton ~kway in C~adock ~eb~uary ~0, 1976), <br />and may alter requ±red off-street parkfng and loading re- <br />quirements. The Commission of Architectural Review for Port <br />Norfolk and Park View may issue a certificate of appropriateness <br />for alterations proposed in the limited business subdistrict <br />established in Port Norfolk ~April 26, 1983), and the historic <br />limited office subdistrlct established in Park View (April 1, <br />1984), and may alter re.~uired off-street parking and loading <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> ~3) The Co~mission of Architectural Review may issue <br />a certificate of appropriateness, and thereafter the building <br />official may issue building and occupancy permits for residen- <br />tial dwelling units incorporated in structures where the <br />principal use is commercial or semicommercial under terms <br />of Commercial C-l; provided that a dwelling unit containing <br />one bedroom shall incorporate no less than four hundred (400) <br />square feet of usable floor area therein, a dwelling unit with <br />two f2) bedroems no less than seven hundred f700) square feet <br />and a dwelling unit with three bedrooms no less than eight <br />hundred (800) square feet. <br /> <br /> 6. If any part ox parts, section or subsection, sentence, <br />clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason declared <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not <br />affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />7. This ordinance shall take effect on Aoril 1, 1984. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February 28, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
