AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $40,000. FOR AN ENGINEERING STUDY <br />OF THE GODWIN STREET PUMP~STATION IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOLID&~.~STE DISPOSAL PLANT AT THE NAVAL <br />S~IPYARD; AUTHORIZING THE?~i~Y MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CHANGE <br />ORDER TO EXISTING CONTRAC~ FOR ENGINEERING STUDY OF THE <br />CITY WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY ~NAGER <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT ~$j~%THE UNITED STATES NAVY FOR <br />REIMBURSEMENT. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the~Council of the City of Portsmouth <br />that the sum of Forty Thousand ($40,000.) Dollars be, and t~e <br />same hereby is, appropriate~i~for the purpose of an engineering <br />study of the Godwin Street P~p Station in connection with <br />the construction of the solid waste disposal plant at the <br />Naval Shipyard. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to e~ecute' a change order to the exist- <br />ing contract with CH2M Hall for engineering study of the City <br />waste distribution system. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED ~hat the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized'to enter into a contract with the <br />United States Navy for reimbursement of the funds hereby <br />appropriated for an engineering study. <br /> <br /> Adopted by t~e Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held December 11, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
