the driver of a .vehicle may overtake or pass another vehicle <br />in the intersection if such intersection is designated and <br />marked as a passing zone by the State Highway and Transportation <br />Commission pursuant to its authority. <br /> <br />Section 23-135. Limitation on turning around. <br /> <br /> (a) The driver of a vehicle within the City shall not <br />turn such vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction <br />except at an intersection of highways~ <br /> <br /> (b) No vehicle shall be turned so as to proceed in the <br />opposite direction upon any curve, or upon the approach to <br />or near the crest of a grade, where such vehicle cannot he <br />seen by the driver of any other vehicle approaching from any <br />direction within 500 feet. <br /> <br />Section 23-144. Funeral processions. <br /> <br /> Ail motor vehicles participating in a funeral procession <br />that is traveling under police escort shall have the right-of- <br />way over all other vehicles, except fire apparatus, ambulances <br />and police vehicles at any street or highway intersection <br />within the city and may proceed through a stop street or <br />signalized intersection with proper caution and safety. <br /> <br />Section 23-213. Stopping in emergency areas. <br /> <br /> (a) No vehicle shall be stopped at or in the vicinity of <br />a fire, vehicle or airplane accident or other area of emergency <br />in such a manner as to create a traffic hazard or interfere <br />with the necessary procedures of police, firemen, rescue workers <br />or others whose duty it is to deal with such emergencies. Any <br />vehicle found unattended in the vicinity of such fire, accident <br />or area of emergency may be removed by order of a police <br />officer at the risk and expense, not to exceed twenty-five <br />dollars ($25.00) of the owner if such vehicle craates a <br />traffic hazard or interferes with the necessary procedures <br />of police, firemen, rescue workers or others whose assigned <br />duty is to deal with such emergencies. <br /> <br />Section 23-304. Duties of driver generally. <br /> <br /> (a) The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident <br />in which a person is killed or injured or in which an attended <br />vehicle or other attended property is damaged shall immedi- <br />ately stop as close to the scene of the accident as possible <br />without obstructing traffic and report forthwith to the police <br />authority; and, in addition, to the person struck and injured <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
