AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES FOR FISHING PERMITS <br />AND BOAT RENTAL COST AT THE CITY-OWNED WATERSHED IN <br />SUFFOLK. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED bv the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the following fees are hereby established <br />for fishing permits and boat rental: <br /> <br />DAILY RATES <br /> <br />Daily shore fishing permit $ 1.50 <br />Senior citizens daily shore fishing permit <br />(62 years of age and over) 1.00 <br />Daily boat rental fee (up to three occupants) 7.00 <br />Senior citizens and Portsmouth residents <br />daily boat rental fee (up to three <br />occupants) 5.60 <br /> <br />ANNUAL RATES. <br /> <br />Annual fishing permit (does not incl'ud~ boat <br /> rental; permit holder may keep.his own boat <br /> at boat landing; one other person may fish <br /> free with permit holder) S 25.00 <br />Annual family permit (permits the holder no <br /> keep one (1) boat in any Portsmouth lake <br /> abutting the proper.ty of the holder or at <br /> the boat landing; boats mush be marked with <br /> permit holder's name in two inch (2") <br /> letters as approved by the Department of <br /> Public Utilities; the holder of the permit <br /> and members of his household and guest when <br /> accompanied by a member of the household may <br /> fish on this permit) 50.00 <br />Annual Clubhouse permit (entitled private clubs <br /> abutting lake property to keep a boat in <br /> the lake at the Club property; members and <br /> guests may fish with this permit; boats <br /> will be marked with permit holder's name <br /> in two inch (2") letters as approved by <br /> the Department of Public Utilities) 100.00 <br /> <br /> 2. Ail other ordinances or parts thereof <br />with the provisions of this ordinance aye, to <br />such conflict, hereby repealed. <br /> <br />in conflict <br />the extent of <br /> <br /> 3. This ordinance shall take effect as of September <br />1, 1986. <br /> <br /> <br />
