39 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF <br />A PORTION OF WARWICK STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Richard J. Deans and John E. Winters <br />have made application to vacate, close and <br />discontinue the hereinafter- described portion of <br />Warwick Street, and it appearing that notice of <br />application and request for the appointment of <br />viewers has been duly advertised as required by <br />law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council <br />of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard <br />D. Ottavio, Waldo Davis, William Choate, James H. <br />Griffin and James L. Linehan be appointed viewers <br />and that Emerson Smith and C. L. Knight be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said <br />viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion <br />of said street and to report to this Council in <br />writing whether in their opinion any, and if any <br />what, inconvenience would result in vacating and <br />closing the following: <br /> <br />WARWICK STREET <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of <br />land, situate in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, being that portion of Warwick <br />Street shown on the plat of River Park <br />recorded in the Clerk's Office of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, <br />Virginia, in Map Book 19, Pages 33 & 34, <br />which lies between Algonquin Street and <br />Greenbrier Road~ said parcel being <br />bounded on the south by Lots l~through 5 <br />in Block 1 on the aforementioned plat, on <br />the east by Lot 8 in Block A on the <br />aforementioned plat, on the north by the <br />continuation of Lots 1 through 5 of the <br />aforementioned plat, and on the west by <br />Greenbrier Road. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held March <br />1986. <br /> <br />25, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
