38 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION TO APPROVE CERTAIN <br />ADDITIONS, DELETIONS AND CHANGES OF FUNCTIONAL <br />CLASSIFICATION FOR STREETS IN THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF CALCULATING MAINTENANCE PAYMENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the regulations of the Virginia Department <br />of Highways and Transportation adopted pursuant to <br />Section 33.1-41.1, Code of Virginia, require that the <br />City submit a request for changes in mileage additions, <br />deletions or functional classifications of City Streets <br />which occur during the fiscal year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />have occurred <br />specified. <br /> <br />the following described changes in mileage <br />in the City of Portsmouth for ~he reasons <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Virginia <br />Department of Highways and Transportation be requested <br />to approve the following additions, deletions and <br />changes in functional classification for streets in the <br />City of Portsmouth for the purpose of calculating <br />maintenance payments: <br /> <br />ADDITIONS: <br /> <br />Rivermill Circle from Rivershore Road to <br />Rivershore Road. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Rivermill Court from Rivermill Circle to cul- <br />de-sac. <br /> <br />3. Reese Drive North from Reese Drive South to <br /> Reese Drive South. <br /> <br />Reese Drive South from Reese Drive North to <br />High Street West° <br /> <br />5. Castleway from Reese Drive South to Reese Drive <br /> South. <br /> <br />6. Radcliffe Circle from Reese Drive South to cul- <br /> de-sac. <br /> <br />7. Sterling Point Circle from Sterling Point Drive <br /> to cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />DELETIONS: <br /> <br />1. Green Street from Bart Street to South Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
