A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO HOP-IN, INC. TO OPERATE GASOLINE PUMPS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A CONVENIENCE STORE AT 2330 PORTSMOUTH BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, Hop-In, Inc., by Ray Hope, Agent, has made application pursuant to ~40-102 (I) (1) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the done all things required to be done application; and Planning Director have in connection with said WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter-described is sought: (a) will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious to the property or improvements of the neighborhood; and (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. 2. Hop-In, Inc. is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to ~40-102 (I) (1) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, to operate gasoline pumps in conjunction with a convenience store on property located at 2330 Portsmouth Boulevard (Tax Map 200, Parcel 1) such site consisting of approximately 41,600 square feet or 0.95 acres. 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following conditions: submitted Services (a) A standard site improvement plan must be to the Department of Engineering & Technical for review and approval. Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held January 14, 1986. Teste: City Clerk
