18 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO <br />AN AGREEMENT WITH MASTER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR USE <br />OF CITY PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE LIGHTSHIP MUSEUM. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation, the City <br />of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority have entered into an Agreement for development <br />of certain property adjacent to River Front Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation has <br />requested the use of certain City owned property <br />adjacent to the Lightship Museum for the purpose <br />locating a temporary sales office in conjunction <br />its development project; and <br /> <br />of <br />with <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation has agreed <br />to provide certain landscaping of the temporary facility <br />and to insure that the use thereof will not interfere <br />with the operation of the Lightship Museum. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager <br />be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an Agreement <br />with Master Development Corporation for use of City <br />owned property adjacent to the Lightship Museum, as <br />shown on the attached plat, subject to such terms and <br />conditions as the City Manager and the City Attorney may <br />direct. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held February 25, 1986. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
