71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF AN UNNAMED, <br />UNIMPROVED STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST NORFOLK ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Restaurants Internationale, Inc., and James C. <br />Waters and Mary C. Waters have made application no vacate, <br />close and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of a <br />certain unnamed unimproved street on the north side of West <br />Norfolk Road, and it appearing that notice of application and <br />request for the appointment of viewers has been duly <br />advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Waldo Davis, William Choate, <br />James H. Griffin, Howard L. Davis and Albert J. Carr be <br />appointed viewers and that Robert Reed and James Moss be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding <br />viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain, piece, parcel or lot of <br />land, situate in the Western Branch Borough in <br />the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, and more <br />particularly bounded and described as follows, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the northerly <br />right-of-way of West Norfolk Road 320.0' west <br />of the intersection with the southerly <br />right-of-way of the Atlantic and Danville <br />Railroad; thence southwesterly along the <br />northerly right-of-way of West Norfolk Road <br />52.92' along an arc having radius 2,736.93' To <br />a point in the westerly line of a 50' <br />right-of-way; thence north 15° 16' 33" east, <br />168.36' along the westerly line of a 50' <br />right-of-way to a point in the southerly <br />right-of-way of the Atlantic and Danville <br />Railroad; thence south 68° 53' 15" east, <br />50.26' along the southerly right-of-way of the <br />Atlantic and Danville Railroad to a point in <br />the easterly line of a 50' right-of-way; <br />thence south 15° 16' 33" west, 145.98' along <br />the easterly line of a 50' right-of-way to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> The portion of the street to be closed is <br />shown on Tax Map 711 and lies between parcel <br />0330 on the east and parcel 0310 on the west. <br /> <br /> <br />
