AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-102 (B) BY ADDING <br />THERETO A NEW SUBSECTION DESIGNATED 4.2, PERTAINING TO <br />HISTORIC DISTRICT BUILDING REGULATIONS. <br /> <br /> BY IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-102 (B) be amended by adding <br />thereto subsection 4.2, such new subsection to sead as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> (4.2) New buildings in the Olde Towne Historic <br />District and the Parkview Historic District may be erected <br />on lots which conform to the following schedule: <br /> <br />Building Type <br /> <br />Minimum Lot Size in <br /> <br />Square Feet <br /> <br />Single family/duplex ******* 3,045 <br />Three (3) dwelling units ******* 4,570 <br />Four (4) ~welling units ******* 6,090 <br /> <br /> One 1) additional unit permitted for each 3,045 <br />square feet. <br /> <br /> 2.
