26 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION TO APPROVE CERTAIN ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS OF <br />STREETS IN THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />CALCULATING MAINTENANCE PAYMENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the regulations of the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation adopted pursuant to Section 33.1-41.1, Code of <br />Virginia, require that the City submit a request for changes <br />in the mileage additions and deletions of City streets which <br />occurred during the fiscal year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following described changes in mileage have <br />occurred in the City of Portsmouth for the reasons specified. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation be requested to approve the following additions <br />and deletions for streets in the City of Portsmouth for the <br />purpose of calculating maintenance payments: <br /> <br />Additions <br /> <br /> 1. Glasgow Street from Green Street <br />Glasgow Street. <br /> <br /> 2. Trafalger Arch from Brandon <br /> <br /> 3. Elmhurst Court from Elmhurst <br />Elmhurst Court. <br /> <br /> 4. Wayland Drive from Hatton Point Road <br />Road. <br /> <br />Deletions <br /> <br /> to the terminus of <br /> <br />Lane to Morgate Lane. <br /> <br /> Lane to the terminus of <br /> <br /> to Hatton Point <br /> <br /> 1. Scott Street from 105' east of Effingham Street to <br />Washington Street. <br /> <br /> 2. Green Street from the south line of Race Street to <br />the north line of Brighton Street. <br /> <br /> 3. Essex Street from Henry Street to Randolph Street. <br /> <br /> 4. Third Street from Wythe Street to Harrison Street. <br /> <br />5. Randolph Street from Fourth Street to Third Street. <br /> <br />6. Randolph Street from Fifth Street to Fourth Street. <br /> <br />7. Henry Street from Third Street to Fourth Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
