108 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSURE OF A PORTION <br />OF KAYTON STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clyde E. Smith has made application to vacate, <br />close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of <br />Kayton Street and it appearing that Notice of Application and <br />Request for Appointment of Viewers has been duly advertised as <br />required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, Charles R. <br />Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and Moses Gibson be <br />appointed viewers and that Raymond Tweed and L.A. Clark be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the D~eceding <br />viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter described portion of said street and to report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />Kayton Street <br /> <br /> That portion of Kayton Avenue shown on <br />the amended plat of South Highlands ~1, duly <br />recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit <br />Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia in <br />Map Book 18, page 71, situate in the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia and designated as Kayton <br />Street upon the official records of said city, <br />which lies between the western line of the <br />street designated on said plat as Howard <br />Avenue and now known as Beacon Road and a line <br />drawn parallel to and distant 150 feet west <br />from the western line of Beacon Road. Said <br />street is shown on tax map 475 and adjoins <br />Parcels 6, 7, 8 and 33 as shown on said map <br />and is designated as Kayton Street on said <br />map. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held November 10, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
