107 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSURE OF A PORTION <br />OF FIRST STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described <br />portion of First Street and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and Request for Appointment of Viewers has been <br />duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, Albert J. <br />Carry Howard L. mavis, George N. Powers, Sr., and James V. <br />McGehee be appointed viewers and that Simon P. Arrington and <br />James H. Griffin be appointed alternate viewers in the event <br />one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said <br />viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of said <br />street and to report to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any what, inconvenience would result <br />in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />First Street <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of First Street being <br />60' in width and extending from the southern <br />boundary of Crawford Street to the northern <br />boundary of Wythe Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held November 10, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
