54 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORTION OF <br />CHEMICAL WAY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Virginia Chemicals, Inc., has made application <br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Chemical Way, and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and request for appointment of viewers has been <br />duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, James Moss, <br />Clinton J. Fortune, Matthew L. ?eanort and L.A. Clark be <br />appointed viewers and that Moses Gibson and James L. Linehan <br />be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding uiewers fails to participate, said viewers to view <br />the hereinafter described portion of such street and to report <br />to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and <br />if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and <br />closing the following: <br /> <br />Chemical Way <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land, <br />lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, being more particularly described as <br />that portion of Chemical Way bounded on the <br />north and south by the property of Virginia <br />Chemicals Inc.; bounded on the east by <br />Progress Avenue; bounded on the west by West <br />Norfolk Road. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 9, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
