Section 6-8 Subsection 118.13. Charges for elevator <br /> operating permits. <br /> <br /> For periodic inspections made <br />dumbwaiters, moving stairs, moving <br />accordance with the Building Code, <br /> <br />on all elevators, <br />walks and manlifts <br />fees shall be: <br /> <br />in <br /> <br /> (a) Seventy Five Dollars ($75.00) for the annual permit <br />and test inspection. <br /> <br />(b) Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for the periodic inspection. <br /> <br /> (c) Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for the maintenance <br />inspection (annual weight test). <br /> <br /> 2. That Section 6-17 (b) (2) be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 6-17. <br /> <br />Boards of examiners; examination, <br />certification of applicants for <br />certificates of competency. <br /> <br /> (b) (2) Level II worker, formerly known as master: The <br />applicant must demonstrate sufficient knowledge, ability and <br />proficiency to meet the Level II criteria set out in the <br />standards established by the boards and by the director of <br />the State Department of Housing and Community Development. <br />Applicants desiring to obtain certification at Level II shall <br />furnish evidence that item (a), below and one or more of <br />experience requirements (b) through (f) have been met: <br /> <br /> a. One year of experience in supervision of the <br />installation or repair of the specific types of equiDment <br />involved in related apparatus utilized within the specific <br />area o~ expertise for which certification is desired; <br /> <br /> b. Four years of practical experience in ~he specific <br />area of expertise or directly related area of expertise for <br />which certification is desired; <br /> <br /> c. Successful completion of a registered apprenticeship <br />system established in accordance with the Virginia Voluntary <br />Apprenticeship Act in the area of expertise for which <br />certification is desired; <br /> <br /> d. An associate degree in the area of expertise for <br />which certification is desired and two years of practical <br />experience in the specific area of expertise for which <br />certification is desired; <br /> <br /> e. Bachelor's degree in the study o~ engineering in a <br />curriculum related to the area of expertise for which <br />certification is desired and one year of practical experience <br />in the specific area of expertise for which certification is <br /> <br /> <br />
