Section 3. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to transfer fands fo~ the purpose of equalization, from any <br />fund in one authorized bank to the same fund in anothe~ <br />authorized bank, ~ovided the transfer check is countersigned <br />by the City Treasurer. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to transfer funds, as a temporary loan, from one fund of the <br />City to any othe~ fund of the City, provided the transfer <br />check is countersigned by the City T~easurer. <br /> <br /> Section 5. To the extent that any monies in the accounts <br />of the School Board derived from sources othe~ than the State <br />of Virginia are unexpended at the end of the fiscal year <br />1987-88, and, thus, become available for use the next fiscal <br />year, the City's share of the a~p~op~iation made for education <br />and scholarships for the next ensuing year shall be decreased <br />by a like amount. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a me~ting held May 16, 1988. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
