shall state the location of the property, the date of the <br />notice of violations and the number of such notice. The <br />appellant must state the variance or modification requested, <br />the reason therefore and the hardship or conditions upon which <br />the appeal is made. <br /> <br /> No appeal filed later than twenty days after the date of <br />such notice shall be acted upon by the Housing Board of <br />Adjustments and Appeals, unless the Director of Environmental <br />Services shall consent thereto. <br /> <br />Section 17-19. Definitions. <br /> <br /> (b) Where the words "Code Official" are used in the <br />Building Maintenance Code hereby adopted, they shall be held <br />to mean the Director of Environmental Services, who is hereby <br />designated to enforce said Code. <br /> <br />Section 17-20. <br /> <br />Rules, regulations for administration, <br />enforcement of article. <br /> <br /> The Director of Environmental Services, with the approval <br />of the Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals, may make and <br />adopt such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the <br />administration and enforcement of this article. Such rules <br />and regulations shall not be in conflict with or an <br />enlargement of any of the provisIons of this article. It <br />shall be unlawful for any person to fail, neglect or refuse to <br />comply with such rules and regulations so adopted. <br /> <br /> The term "Director" as used in this chapter shall reter <br />to the Director of Environmental Services. <br /> <br />Section 17-22. Procedure for abatement of nuisance. <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this article, <br />whenever in the judgement of the Code Official, there exists <br />upon any land or premises or in any dwelling unit any <br />condition that constitutes a nuisance or menace to health that <br />should be remedied, abated or removed immediately, the <br />Code Official may proceed in accordance with the provisions of <br />Sections 16-26 and 16-27. <br /> <br /> <br />
