accordance with standards and specifications of the <br />City. The thickness of base and pavement shall be <br />determined by actual soil bearing tests of the <br />California Bearing Ratio type or its equivalent <br />(performed at the expense of the subdivider by an <br />approved testing laboratory at locations specified <br />by the City Engineer), and by anticipated traffic <br />loading methods developed by The Asphalt Institute <br />or the Portland Cement Association; <br /> <br />A drainage system shall be provided to insure <br />adequate drainage of both natural and storm water. <br />The system shall be constructed and installed in <br />accordance with plans and specifications approve(/ <br />by the City Engineer. The subdivider shall be <br />required to install necessary drainage facilities <br />outside the property limits of the land owned or <br />controlled by the subdivider but necessitated, at <br />least in part. by the construction or improvement <br />Of the subdivisicn~ <br /> <br />Curbs and gutters, shall be installed in accordance <br />with the plans and specifications approved by the <br />City En~ineer~ the use of valley ~utte~s shall be <br />avoided; <br /> <br />Water lines shall ~e installed by the subdivider in <br />accordance with plans and s~oifications approved <br />by the Director of Public Utilities.
