AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF WATSON STREET. WHEREAS, Maury W. Cooke has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of Watson Street; and WHEREAS, by resolution of this Council adopted October 13, 1987, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364, Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described portion of said street and to report in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any what, inconvenience would result from discontinuing said portion of Watson Street; and WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in their opinion no inconvenience would result from closing and discontinuing of said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the hereinafter described portion of Watson Street be closed and vacated as a public street. Ail that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, lying, situate and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, designated as Watson Street (formerly County Street), on that certain physical survey of 701 Airline Boulevard, Portsmouth, Virginia, dated June 10, 1987, and prepared by Steven I. Boone and Associates, P.C., land surveyors, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. The property described herein is also more particularly bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west side of Potomac Avenue (formerly Vermont Avenue) which point is marked by a pipe found at the northeastern most corner of 701 Airline --Boulevard and from said point of beginning running thence north 88° 25' 35" west a distance of 56.36 feet to a pin in the eastern line of Airline Boulevard; thence running north 43° 24' 35" east a distance of 58.33 feet to a point, thence continuing on a curve to the right having a radius of 10.00 feet, an
