ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-89-5 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That a portion of the Zoning Map attached to and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, which now zones as R-75 Residential the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Z-89-5, is hereby amended and changes as to show said property zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K Conditional, and that said property is hereby zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K Conditional. 2. The property affected by this Ordinance is described as follows: Z-89-5 BEGINNING on the west right-of-way of Jewell Avenue 130'+ south from its intersection with Portsmouth ~oulevard; thence south along said right-of-way 77' to a point; thence west 100.13' to a point; thence south 8.78' to the point, thence west 100' to the east right-of-way of Martin Avenue; thence north along said right-of-way 75' to a point; thence east 100'; thence north 5.33'; thence east 100.24' to the west right-of-way of Jewell Avenue, the Point of Beginning. 3. Zoning Ordinance Amendment Z-89-5 is conditioned upon the following: (a) The property shall be used only for an automobile parking lot to service the adjacent funeral home. (b) Landscaping and curb cuts will be limited to those shown on a plat designated as "Lots in Southdale for Sturtevant Funeral Home" on file with the appropriate officials of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia and designated as Exhibit 1 for rezonlng applications Z-89-5. (c) A six foot (6') wooden privacy fence shall be erected along the southern boundary of the property to buffer the adjacent residences.
