(a) <br /> <br />The 100-year floodplain as identified on <br />the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />Flood Insurance Rate Map dated November <br />11, 1983; <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Non-tidal wetlands not connected by <br />surface flow to tidal wetlands, tributary <br />streams or other tidal waters; and <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Where the above features do n6t exist <br />adjacent to the RPA, an area measuring <br />530 feet landward from the maximum <br />landward extent of the RPA. <br /> <br /> C. The Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area (CBPA) Map <br />shall show the general location of CBPAs and should be <br />consulted by persons contemplating activities within the City <br />of Portsmouth prior to engaging in a regulated activity. <br /> <br /> D. Portions of RPAs and RMAs designated by the City <br />Council as Intensely Developed Areas shall serve as <br />redevelopment areas. Areas so designated shall comply with <br />all erosion and sediment control requirements and the <br />performance standards for redevelopment in Section 9.1-11. <br /> <br /> E. If at least 25 percent of a lot, parcel, or <br />development pro3ect lies within the boundaries of a CBPA, the <br />entire lot, parcel, or development project shall comply with <br />the requirements of this Chapter. <br /> <br /> 2.
