AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988 AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION <br />22-329 THEREOF, PERTAINING TO LIMITATION ON USE OF CERTAIN <br />STREETS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: - <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 22-329 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 22-329. <br /> <br />Limitation on use of certain streets by <br />trucks. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or operate a <br />motor truck of gross weight of ten thousand (10,000) pounds or <br />over (empty or loaded) upon any of the following named streets <br />in the city, except for the purposes of receiving loads or <br />making deliveries: <br /> <br /> Arlington Place between Airline Boulevard and Frederick <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Belle Street between Romanesque Street and Phillips <br />Avenue. <br /> <br /> Booker Street between Constitution Avenue and Industrial <br />Avenue. <br /> <br /> Brighton Street <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />between Airline Boulevard and Frederick <br /> <br /> Broad Street between Bayview Boulevard and London <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Cavalier Boulevard between Chesapeake city limits and <br />Rapidan Street. <br /> <br />Chancellor Street between Douglas Avenue and Wool Avenue. <br /> <br /> Chautauqua Avenue between Wesley Street and Commerce <br />Street. <br /> <br /> Cleveland Street between Lee Avenue and Mount Vernon <br />Avenue. <br /> <br /> Cutherell Street between Romanesque Street and High <br />Street. <br /> <br /> Dartmouth Street between Airline Boulevard and Frederick <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br /> <br />
