61 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />STREET. <br /> <br />APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A <br /> <br />PORTION OF SIXTH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Industrial Development Authority h~s- <br /> made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />' hereinafter-described portion of Sixth Street, and it <br /> appearing that Notice of Application and Request-for <br /> Appointment of Viewers has been advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Vincent T. Cherry, Albert J. <br /> Carr, Howard Davis, George Powers, Sr. And Richard Wood be <br /> appointed viewers'and that Lee Batts and Richard Todd, be <br /> a~pointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding <br /> viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br /> hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to <br /> th~s Council ~n writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br /> any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br /> the following: <br /> Sixth Street <br /> <br /> AIl that certain portion of Sixth Street <br />bounded on the north by the south ~ght-of-way <br />of Henry Street and bounded on the sout~ by the <br />north right-of-way of Lincoln Street as shown <br />on that certain plat entitled "Subdivision of--' <br />PortCentre Commerce Park" duly recorded in <br />the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of <br />the City of Portsmouth in Map Book 13 at <br />pages 253-256. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the <br />Virginia, at a meeting held August <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City of Portsmouth, <br />14, 1990. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
