- 12 - <br /> <br />Projects <br /> <br />Drainage, Curbs, Gutters and <br /> Street Improvements <br />Education <br />Priority Action Program <br />Industrial and Economic Development <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Public Safety <br />Municipal Facilities and Community <br /> Services <br /> Total <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />$ 2,236,985 <br />12,817,000 <br />2,609,045 <br />876,077 <br />3,165,800 <br />305,435 <br /> <br />12,989,658 <br />$35,000,000 <br /> <br />If any such project shall require less than the entire respective <br />amount set forth above, the difference may be applied to pay the <br />cost of any of the other projects so set forth. <br /> <br /> The proceeds of the sale of the General Obligation <br />Public Utility Bonds shall be applied to the payment of the costs <br />of capital improvements, extensions and additions to the City's <br />revenue-producing water and sewerage system. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia" <br /> <br /> 11. The Mayor, the City Clerk, the City Manager, the <br />Director of Finance, the City Attorney and other appropriate <br />officers, employee and agents of the City are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take all such action and to execute such <br />instruments as shall be deemed by them to be necessary or <br />appropriate to effect the print~hg,~.execution and issuance of the <br />Bonds and the delivery of the Bonds in accordance with the terms <br />of this resolution upon recelpt of the purchase price therefor, <br />and for the proper application and use of the proceeds of such <br />sale. <br /> <br /> 12. Ail actions and proceedings heretofore taken by <br />this Council, the City Manager and the other officers, employees, <br />agents and attorneys of the City in connection with the <br />authorization, issuance and sale of the Bonds, are hereby <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br /> <br /> 13. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of <br />this resolution shall be held invalid or unenforceable for any <br />reason, the invalidity or unenforceability of such section, <br />paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the <br />remaining portions of this resolution. <br /> <br /> 14. Ail ordinances, resolutions and proceedings in <br />conflict herein, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> <br />
