77 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH'S 1992 <br />LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS TO BE PRESENTED TO THE PORTSMOUTH <br />DELEGATION AND THE MEMBERS OF THE VIRGINIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia General Assembly deals with a broad <br />range of issues that affect local governments both directly <br />and indirectly; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has certain concerns <br />which deal with both local governments and Portsmouth <br />specifically; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these concerns and <br />to Portsmouth's General Assembly <br />be transmitted for consideration <br /> <br />issues need to be made known <br />Delegation so that they may <br />by the Legislature. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth endorses the attached legislative proposals <br />for the 1992 General Assembly Session and directs that both <br />this resolution and the legislative proposals be forwarded to <br />the Portsmouth General Assembly Delegation. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held December 10, 1991. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
