1991-113 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1991-59 PERTAINING TO THE <br />CLOSING 'DF PORTIONS OF G STREET, WILCOX AVENUE, MARSHALL <br />AVENUE, LEE STREET, PENNOCK STREET, MCCRACKEN STREET AND IVEY <br />PLACE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1991-59, adopted June 11, 1991, <br />contained errors in the descriptions of the portions of Wilcox <br />Avenue and Marshall Avenue to be closed and vacated by said <br />ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />desires to correct said descriptions to coincide with the <br />intent of City Council on the date of adoption. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br /> <br /> 1. That Ordinance No. 1991-59 be amended to show as <br />closed and vacated as public streets the hereinafter described <br />portions of Wilcox Avenue and Marshall Avenue: <br /> <br />Wilcox Avenue <br /> <br /> That stub portion of Wilcox Avenue lying to <br />the West of the Western right-of-way line of G <br />Street as shown on the Plat of I. O. Ivey, and <br />shown on Tax Map 149. <br /> <br />Marshall Avenue <br /> <br /> That stub portion of Marshall Avenue lying to <br />the West of the Western right-of-way line cf G <br />Street as shown on the Plat of I. O. Ivey, and as <br />shown on Tax Map 149. <br /> <br /> 2.
