AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 6 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988, BY AMENDING SECTION 6-32 THEP~OF, <br />PERTAINING TO PLEASURE BOAT REGISTRATION FEES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That Section 6-32 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 6-32. Fee imposed. <br /> <br /> For each year beginning with January first and ending <br />December thirty-first following, there is hereby imposed and <br />there shall be collected from every person owning a pleasure <br />boat or watercraft used for recreational purposes only, which <br />pleasure boat or watercraft is normally docked, stored or kept <br />within the city limits or any waters within the territorial <br />limits of the city, a registration fee of twenty dollars <br />($20.00) for each such boat or watercraft. <br /> <br /> 2.
