1992-37 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />AMBULANCE SERVICES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the following fees are hereby established for <br />emergency ambulance services: <br /> <br />Transportation and treatment <br />as needed .................... $200.00 per trip; <br />Mileage fee .................... S 4.00 per loaded mile. <br /> <br /> Other fees may be assessed for the replacement of <br />consumable materials and supplies used in the course of <br />providing emergency medical services. Those fees will be <br />established by the City's Emergency Medical Services <br />contractor. <br /> <br /> 2. That all ambulance transportation of emergency <br />patients in the City of Portsmouth shall be provided by an <br />Advanced Life Support ambulance capable of supplying advanced <br />life support services and whose crew shall consist of at least <br />one State certified Emergency Medical Technician - Cardiac <br />Technician and one State certified Emergency Medical <br />Technician. <br /> <br /> 3. That all other ordinances or parts thereof in <br />conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are to the <br />extent of such conflict hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> 4.
