100 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br />FOR 1992-93 THROUGH 1996-97, AND A ONE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR t992-93. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council <br />the Capital Improvement Plan for 1992-93 through 1996-97, and a <br />one year Capital Improvement Program for 1992-93; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and <br />Commission have reviewed and commented on <br />and <br /> <br />the Municipal Finance <br />the Plan and Program; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive public <br />comments on the five year Capital Improvement Plan and on the <br />one year CaDital Improvement Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has considered the five year Capital <br />Improvement Plan and the one year Capital Improvemen~ Program <br />and finds them to be in the proper form and expressive of <br />Council policies in regard to necessary capital improvements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia that the aforesaid Capital Improvement <br />Plan for the years 1992-93 through 1996-97, and the one year <br />Capital Improvement Program for 1992-93 are approved subject to <br />later appropriation in the ordinary course of business of the <br />City~ and with the capital improvement funds designated for <br />Education for a new I. C. Norcom High School to be ccnditioned <br />upon the new I. C. Norcom High School being built at the current <br />Harry Hunt Jr. High School site if same is suitakle for <br />construction, and on land adjoining as may be necessary. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of <br />at a meeting held November 10, <br /> <br />the City of <br />1992. <br /> <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
