A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF WEST <br />ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of West Road, and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and Request for Appointment of Viewers has been <br />advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virgznia, that Roy Leinart, Simon Arrington, <br />Robert McCurdy, James McGehee, and Raymond Tweed be appointed <br />viewers, and that Clinton Fortune and Casey Lavender be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding <br />viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />West Road between Maryview Hospital and property now <br />or formerly belonging to the City of Portsmouth and <br />being more particularly shown on that certain <br />exhibit entitled "Exhibit Plat Showing Portion of <br />'West Road' To Be Vacated," made by Hassell & <br />Folkes, P.C., Engineers, Sdrveyors, Planners, dated <br />5/3/90, a copy of which exhibit is attached hereto <br />and ma~e a part hereof. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held Augusn 25, 1992. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
