21 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION TO APPROVE CERTAIN ADDITIONS, DELETIONS AND <br />CHANGES IN FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF STREETS IN THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF CALCULATING MAINTENANCE <br />PAYMENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the regulations of the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation adopted pursuant to Section 31.1-41.1, Code of <br />Virginia, require that the City submit a request for changes <br />in mileage additions, deletions and functional classification <br />of streets which occurred during the fiscal year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following described changes in mileage have <br />occurred in the City of Portsmouth for the reasons specified. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation be requested to approve the following <br />additions, deletions and changes in functional classification <br />for streets in the City of Portsmouth for the purpose of <br />calculating maintenance payments: <br /> <br />A. ADDITIONS <br /> <br />1. Reid Street from Harris Road to CooDer Drive. <br /> <br />2. Cooper Drive from Reid Street to Harris Road. <br /> <br />3. Long Point Boulevard from Twin Pines Road to Breakwater <br /> Drive. <br /> <br />4. Clipper Lane from Long Point Drive to Flagship Way. <br /> <br />5. Aft Court from Flagship Way to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />Flagship Way from Cul-de-Sac to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />7. Ahoy Court from Flagship Way to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />8. Breakwater Drive from Long Point Boulevard to .02 miles <br /> east of Flagship Way. <br /> <br />9. Sail Court from Breakwater Drive to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />10. Fleet Court from Breakwater Drive to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />11. Ballast Court from Fleet Court to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />12. Peace Way from ~anor Avenue to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />13. River Cove from Cardinal Lane to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br />· 14. Midfield Parkway from Canterbury Drive to Cul-de-Sac. <br /> <br /> <br />
