64 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING USE PERMIT <br />(GHP-93-4) TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF THIRTYiEIGHT (38) <br />TOWNHOUSE UNITS ON CANDLELIGHT LANE AND LANTERN WAY ON A <br />PORTION OF TAX MAP 709, PARCELS 6-14, 46.1 AND 46.2. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, The Creative Group, Inc., has made <br />application pursuant to Section 40-112 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, as amended, for the approval and <br />granting of a group housing use permit for the construction of <br />thirty-eight (38) townhouse units on Candlelight Lane and <br />Lantern Way on a portion of Tax Map 709, Parcels 6-14, 46.1 and <br />46.2, described as follows: <br /> <br />GHP-93-4 <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast intersection of River <br />Pointe Drive and Lantern Way; thence north along <br />the east right-of-way line of Lantern Way 253 <br />feet more or less to a point; thence east 114.15 <br />feet to a point; thence southerly 231 feet to a <br />point; thence westerly 107.33 feet to the east <br />right-of-way line of Lantern Way, the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />Also, beginning at a point on the east <br />right-of-way line of Candlelight Lane a distance <br />of 233.28 feet northerly and easterly from its <br />intersection with the north right-of-way line of <br />River Pointe Drive; thence continuing easterly <br />along said right-of-way 308.79 feet to a point; <br />thence southerly 112 feet to a point; thence <br />westerly 259.68 feet to a point; thence <br />northwesterly 104.88 feet to the east <br />right-of-way line of Candlelight Lane, the point <br />of beginning. <br /> <br />Also, beginning on the west right-of-way line of <br />Candlelight Lane a distance of 221.30 feet <br />northerly from its intersection with the north <br />right-of-way line of River Pointe Drive; thence <br />northwesterly a distance of 129.91 feet to a <br />point; thence easterly 551.05 feet to a point; <br />thence southeasterly 124 feet to a point; thence <br />southerly 24.65 feet to the west right-of-way <br />line of Candlelight Lane; thence westerly along <br />said right-of-way 493.67 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
