SECTION 13. Salaries for Unclassified Positions (a) The annual salary rates of the following unclassified positions shall be the amount stated herein: (b) (c) (1) City Manager S 95,854 (2) City Attorney 81,258 (3) City Assessor 66,953 (4) City Clerk 50,715 (5) Mayor 15~000 (6) Council ~ember I3,000 In addition to the above annual salary, the City Manager hereby authorized the following: the use of a City automobile; an annual payment in the amount of $5,276 to be made by the Director of Finance into a deferred compensation account established for the City Manager in the International City Managers Association Retirement Corporation; reimbursement for the employee's share of health insurance in the amount $2,430; the cost of a physical examination and associated laboratory tests annually; a general expense allowance of $3,600 to be paid in installments equally divided by the number of pay periods in the year; membership dues in a service club (currently $400); and the purchase of 11 months of p~ior service in the City's Fire and Police Retirement System in the amount of $13,180 Part-time employees, whose positions are not classified shall receive compensation as prescribed by the Department Head and the Director of Employee Resources and Development. SECTION 14. Adjustments of Retirement Allowances (a) The adjustments of retirement allowances as prescribed in Sections 30-122 and 30-243 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth,(1988) shall be increased by 3.00%. SECTION 15. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinance Ordinance No. 1992-38 as ammended is hereby repealed. SECTION 16. Effective Date of Ordinance (a) This ordinance shall take effect July 1, 1993.
