This recognition shall be equivalent no a <br />one suep increase in the employees' base salary for the <br />duration of the period that the sworn person retazns the <br />"MASTER" designaElon. <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in uhe classification of Police Officer, Police <br />Sergeann, Police Lieutenant, Police Captain, Police Major, <br />Assistant Police Chief, Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, Fire <br />Captain, and Fire Battalion Chief wilt receive an Education <br />Allowance zn nhe amounu of S500 per year for attamnmenn of an <br />Associate's degree or $1,000 per year for attainment of a <br />Bachelor's degree. <br /> <br />{j) <br /> <br />Any sworn officer assigned as one of £he nine (9) members of <br />the Police Tactical Response Unit shall recemve an allowance in <br />the amounE of S50.00 per month. <br /> <br />SECTION 12. Complements of Fire Department and Police Department <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The authorized complement of the Fire Deparnmen5 shall be one <br />Chief, eight Battalion Chiefs, thirty-six Captains, thirty-nwo <br />Lieutenants, and one hundred thirty-four Firefighters. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The authorized complement of the Police Deparumenn shall be one <br />Chief, ~wo Assistant Chiefs, four Captains, thirteen <br />Lieutenants, uwenuy-six Sergeanns, and one hundred sevenuy-four <br />Police Officers. <br /> <br />SECTION 13.
