AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $517,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND AND $180,000.00 FROM THE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND, TO COMPLETE PHASE III OF THE <br />CONTINUING PHASED IMPROVEMENTS IN THE BRIGHTON/SOUTH PORTSMOUTH <br />AREA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the sum of Five Hundred and Seventeen Thousand <br />and 00/100 ($517,000.00) Dollars be, and the same hereby is <br />appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund and One Hundred <br />Eighty Thousand and 100/00 ($180,000.00) Dollars be, and the <br />same hereby is appropriated from the Public Utilities Capital <br />Improvements Fund, to complete Phase III of the continuing <br />phased improvements in the Brighton/South Portsmouth Area. <br /> <br /> The City of Portsmouth reasonably expects to reimburse the <br />City's general Capital Improvement Fund from the proceeds of <br />the sale of public utility bonds or bond anticipation notes in <br />the sum not to exceed of One Hundred Sixty Thousand and 00/100 <br />($160,000.00) Dollars, which represents the additional portion <br />of the public utilities costs of these capital improvements. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on July 26, 1994. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
